Hi, I’m Franny.

Photography has taken me from crowded concert venues and festival stages to preschool classrooms, family sessions, and professional branding shoots. While earning my BFA in Photography, I unexpectedly fell into family portraiture and quickly discovered a natural connection with children and families.

Today, I operate two photography brands that reflect the sides of my creative world. Through Franny Z Media, I specialize in live music photography and videography, artist branding, promotional content, and creative portraiture. Through Purple Petal Portraits, I create joyful, authentic images for preschools, families, and children.

Over the years, I’ve photographed just about everything: concerts, lifestyle sessions, studio portraits, light painting projects, branding campaigns, children, families, and professionals. No matter the subject, my goal remains the same: to create images that feel genuine.
